FrigoCare. The temperature log of every refrigerator, from the pharmacy to the kitchen.
FrigoCare by Plasmiam keeps the temperature log of refrigerators and freezers: a sealed sensor records the temperature, an app sends the alarms and produces the log, and manufacturers, distributors and service companies see their whole installed fleet in one view.
For: Refrigerator manufacturers, distributors and service companies; pharmacies, healthcare and food businesses
The problems FrigoCare solves.
The log nobody fills in
Readings are recorded automatically: minimum and maximum of the last 24 hours at a glance, no paper sheet on the fridge door.
The night the fridge failed
An alarm on every excursion, a note on what was done, and the excursion stays in the log, ready for the next inspection.
The fleet you installed
Manufacturers and service companies see every installed fridge: in range, excursion, not communicating, batteries and calibrations due.

How it works
What is inside.
- A sensor in a sealed capsule, battery life of over 5 years, internal memory and an adhesive antenna outside the fridge (prototype).
- Local and cloud: on site it keeps recording even without a network; the cloud gives the view of the whole fleet.
- Every reading is sealed with a SHA-256 fingerprint, so a modified value can be recognised.
- PDF reports that support inspections. Range down to −40 °C: ultra-low freezers at −80 °C are out of scope.
Standards
The references we work with.
- Regulation (EC) 852/2004
- EU food hygiene regulation behind HACCP: temperature control of chilled and frozen food.
- EU GDP Guidelines 2013/C 343/01
- Good Distribution Practice for medicinal products for human use: storage temperatures and their records.
- EN 12830
- Temperature recorders for the transport, storage and distribution of chilled and frozen food.
Questions
Frequently asked questions.
Which temperatures does it cover?
Typical thresholds: 2–8 °C for medicines and vaccines, 0–4 °C for chilled food, −18 °C or below for frozen food and −20 °C for laboratory freezers. The sensor reads down to −40 °C.
What if the internet goes down?
The sensor keeps recording in its memory and the log on site stays complete; the cloud view catches up when the network is back.
Is the demo on real data?
No. It runs on a simulated distributor with about 12 sites and 40 refrigerators (pharmacies, clinics, laboratories, restaurants, a shop) and more than a year of readings, with excursions, a blackout and a worn door seal built in.
